This warm, transfixing oud strikes a balance between soft and weighted. Notes of mandarin, ginger, cumin, and cardamom introduce a sense of zip and pricking spice. Two takes on rose—Damask and Taif—bring a softness to a smoky base of leather, incense, and cedar.    

 

Fabbrica Della Musa, which translates to the muse’s workshop, is the Italian fragrance house by prolific perfumer Hamid Merati Kashani and his wife, Barbara Adelmann. Each scent is designed by the couple to evoke olfactive memories of faraway places.
