In creating Maison Beaux—the new health-conscious, environmentally responsible hair care line—renowned editorial hairstylist Teddy Charles and supermodel activist Amber Valletta not only infused their styling cream with decades of professional experience, they also put it through some serious paces. Designed as a true workhorse, the lightweight formula practically does it all: scrunch it in before air-drying to amplify curl and natural texture, prime with it for a big, bouncy blowout, or smooth it on dry hair to achieve a super-sleek slick-back. Throughout the development process, the founders sought feedback on Le Styler from their hairstylist peers and—in an unusual move—also had it clinically evaluated. Results showed an impressive 86% reduction in frizz; three-day curl retention, hold, and smoothing; and heat protection up to 450°F.
