Fischersund is a Reykjavik-based multidisciplinary collective and fragrance house, led by the self-taught nose Jónsi—the lead vocalist of Sigur Rós—and his artist siblings. The brand weaves scent, sound, and personal memories into their artisanal lineup.

This candle is rooted in the perfumer’s nostalgia for the weathered shipyard where he would spend days with his metalsmith father. The smoky fragrance blends notes of leather and sitka spruce, along with nods to oil-stained hands and salt spray.

With a burn time of 55 hours, this candle is handcrafted with recycled soy wax, sustainable scent molecules, wild herbs, and Icelandic oils. It is then hand-poured into a dappled glass vessel and wrapped in illustrations by Jónsi’s sister, Ingibjörg.
