A creative collaboration between the Brooklyn fragrance house and VIOLET GREY, this candle imagines an Upper East Side soiree in the 1960s and ’70s, where art-world gossip in the living room gives way to powder-room secrets. The heart is a modern violet, layered with polished leather and a trail of cigarette smoke; there’s a lipstick note, too, because a touch-up is in order. how to use

During first lighting, allow candle to burn until the wax is evenly melted across the surface
Trim the wick to ¼ inch to minimize soot, debris, and blackening of the glass
Burn for a maximum of four hours
