A feminine rose perfume created by Edmond Roudnitska in the 1950s served as the jumping off point for this contemporary fragrance.

Product details

Frédéric Malle likens this fragrance created by famed perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena to a rose photographed by Andy Warhol. It is a rose seen through the eyes of a contemporary artist,he says of this unique floral scent blended with timut pepper, geranium bourbon, and cassis for freshness and spice. A heart of vetiver and cedar combines with IsoButyl Quinoline—a high-tech molecule with a bitter twist used during the daring perfumery of the Jazz Age—to create a sensual and sophisticated leather base that adds a mysterious edge to the ultra-feminine flower.

- Top notes: geranium, blackcurrant, bourbon geranium
- Heart notes: vetiver, cedar
- Base notes: leather accord

how to use
