As any good interiors professional knows, there’s more to creating a space than simply gathering and arranging a few pretty pieces. You have to curate, edit; conjure a mood.

Brazilian designer Tania Bulhões—known the world over for playful glassware, beautifully painted ceramics, and charming tabletop accessories—also boasts a 25 year legacy in scent. Working hand-in-hand with top perfumers in Grasse, France (the fragrance mothership, if you will), her eponymous brand applies the same finesse and artistry to a line of diffusers, room sprays, and body products as it does to its covetable housewares.

Inspiration comes from cherished memories of Bulhões’ childhood in Minas Gerais, where she grew up between the city and the countryside. This juxtaposition and a love for Brazil are at the heart of her creations, from hand-crafted porcelain to the transportive fragrances.

As soon as you catch a subtle-yet-potent whiff of fresh, green fig in the air, or lay eyes on the objets-d'art diffusers, you can sense it: these items imbue a room with instant luxury and gravitas. They feel intentional, bringing into the space that dash of aesthetic and olfactory je ne sais quoi that only a seasoned designer can achieve.
