Perfect neutral color. Glides on without pulling or dragging. Stays put and helps lip color last for hours.

I've been in search for the perfect soft, muted, pink/nude shade for my lips for decades...literally decades. I can't tell you how many lip products i've bought and tossed away. I have pretty red, pigmented lips to start and every pink/rose color always brought out the red even more. Or, the pink/rose with brown undertones shade I found, simply washed me out and added nothing. This pencil in Doux does neither and is simply perfect.
For a lip pencil, it goes on easily, no pulling or tugging. It's buildable to a degree, so you can use it as a liner or as a color on its own, or both. If I want a more constructed lip, I pair it with Westman Atelier's lip suede matte lipstick in Petal and it's a match made in heaven. I get a beautifully muted pink hue to my lips with just enough lovely color yet nothing about the combo adds more pink to my already pink skin what-so-ever. Same goes if I use it alone and it has really good lasting power. I can get half way through a meal, gently blot my lips with a napkin and color is left on that napkin when I'm done. So it stays. All in all, this will be in my make-up bag FOREVER. I just hope they continue to make it for that long. Thank you, Fara Homidi. I love, love, love your lip pencil to bits...please don't stop making it!
