EDITOR’S NOTE

Inspired by the words of Eve Babitz, Yves Saint Laurent's hôtel particulier-meets-maison, and Dennis Hopper's North Crescent Heights home, this is a scent for those drawn to woods with a rebellious edge.

Product details

This scent is inspired by the Atelier @ 1360, Perfumehead founder Daniel Patrick Giles's creative sanctuary in Los Angeles, just below Sunset Boulevard—a place where the lines between mythology and reality blur, once home to Marilyn Monroe, and later, Keith Richards.

Created by perfumer Constance Georges-Picot, the woody-pepper fragrance is conceived as Perfumehead's second "coltrait": a cologne-extrait hybrid that pairs the effortlessness of an eau de cologne with the depth and longevity of an extrait de parfum.

1360 is composed around precious Haitian vetiver—naturally dry, grassy, and complex, the root carries its own traces of tart citrus, soft florals, and dry woods. The surrounding notes amplify those facets: a bright rush of grapefruit and tingling Timur pepper, Moroccan rose and lily of the valley settling into moss and amber, and echoes of decades past in leather, cedarwood, and gurjum resin.

The result is fresh yet deep, elegant yet earthy—a fragrance that feels both immediate and like a familiar friend.

Top notes: Grapefruit, osmanthus, Timur pepper, and carrot seed

Heart notes: Moroccan rose, black pepper, lily of the valley, and leather

Base notes: Haitian vetiver, gurjum, moss, and amber

how to use
  • Apply to pulse points, including the wrists and neck, allowing the fragrance to develop naturally on skin.
