Sweet Chemistry's Elasticity Reinforcing Lipid Cream goes on feeling like you're applying satin to your face. It feels incredible. The formula doesn't fully dry down and will flake off with gentle touch, so I recommend nighttime use. I wouldn't recommend layering any products over top, especially makeup, due to flakiness. The packaging is airtight to keep the formula and actives fresh, which is amazing. Another noteworthy detail is how many/much actives the developer was able to include in the formula versus other companies due to reformulation of the water emulsion percentage. The lipid cream is intended for dry to combination skin and works to reduce inflammation, oxidization, and dehydration. The owner and creator is extremely knowledgeable and worked in many skincare labs over his career. Unfortunately, this formula seems to make me break out, potentially due to the dry down and pore occlusion, so it is not for my skin. However, I can feel the hydration benefits on my face after application and will be gifting to someone whose skin is hopefully more compatible with the cream.

As a former esthetics educator, I've seen my fair share of wild claims made by a multitude of products. This Elasticity Reinforcing Lipid-Cream from Sweet Chemistry under sold and over delivered! Being in my late 40s, my skin has lost much of its youthful spring and readily displays any minor bit of dryness as an all out distress signal. To start, this cream has a luxurious, nourishing texture. I love smoothing it over every inch of my face, neck, and decolletage as part of my daily skincare ritual. My skin feels hydrated without feeling greasy, and patches that were previously dry have come back to life! It wears very well under makeup. I also found it to be a great base under a night cream in the areas where my skin is impossibly dry, specifically around the nose during sinus and allergy season! Where performance is concerned, I have been elated to see that my fine lines have become less noticeable. Areas that had grown crepey or less elastic are genuinely firmer, smoother, and have a marked improvement in overall appearance. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful product to literally anyone over 25. It's never too early to introduce products that are nourishing and gentle on the skin, especially when they provide such impressive results with consistent use!

I was noticing that my skin was becoming extremely dry and looking very dull when I received this product to test. I was a little skeptical because it felt a little bit thin, which I am used to using thick moisturizers for helping dry skin. However, I was pleasantly surprised because a moisturizer with this viscosity to be this moisturizing was amazing. You can tell that there are so many ceramides and good things packed inside of this moisturizer because every time you use it, your skin feels fed. It feels plump and juicy. It’s just absolutely a moisturizer that gives you that the feeling of having Supple skin that you end up missing when you go into menopause. I found that this is certainly able to use on your own however it works even better if you use it with a serum that target something else that you are fighting. There is also an oil serum that you can mix within it to even increase the ability to moisturize I love using this daily. I just think that my skin is really benefiting from it.
