Inspired by the fantasy gardenscapes in Dream of the Red Chamber by Cao Xuequin, this candle features a mix of fruity, floral, and woody notes. Hand-poured in the Brooklyn studio of husband-and-wife duo David Seth and Kavi Ahuja, this candle is made from soy-vegetable wax and a cotton wick.
- Top notes: rose water, cyclamen
- Heart notes: lychee, lily
- Base notes: musk, sandalwood
- Burn time is 60 hours.
how to use
- For optimal burning, trim wicks to a ¼ inch before each light to avoid smoking and overheating the glass.
- The first burn should be long enough for the surface layer to liquefy to the edge to ensure even subsequent burns and prevent tunneling –— we recommend 2 hours.
- Always protect the candle's surface and keep it out of draft.
- Do not burn for more than four hours at a time.
- Do not leave it unattended.
