Designed by Studio Sofield, the firm that shaped the original Melrose Place location, the shop is a place of discovery and escape. Courtyard seating invites a moment’s pause. In the spirit of commerce and artistry, the shop is nestled between the destination boutiques of Madison Avenue and the cultural trove of Museum Mile.

It is with great pleasure to inform you that, after a five-year courtship, VIOLET GREY is officially going steady with Hirshleifers, the legendary fifth-generation department store in Manhasset, New York. This East Coast footprint is our first outside our original location on Melrose Place, and we’re in very good company at Hirshleifers—nestled in between The Row and the excellent shoe department whose only near rival was the late Barneys (RIP).
