“I’ve always loved hair,” says Lauren Perez, “but I never saw a product that truly focused on preserving it.” With Anablue, the Los Angeles native and longtime brand consultant created a hair care line that speaks softly but delivers. Rooted in the Moroccan beauty rituals she grew up with and shaped by years working with brands like Alo and Khy, the line prioritizes what she calls “hair maintenance with meaning.” Its three core products—a scalp cleanser, treatment oil, and serum—are designed to streamline routines while protecting and supporting long-term hair health.
Perez’s childhood beauty traditions left an imprint. “It was never about makeup,” she recalls. “It was about masks, scrubs, oils, care that came from culture.” That influence runs deep in Anablue, where every formula is clean, efficacious, and sensory-driven, rooted in the same ingredients her French Moroccan family has used for generations, like pure argan oil and prickly pear seed extract. Her approach? Prevent, don’t just repair. "These three are my low-maintenance, weekly essentials—simple, effective, and totally non-negotiable, especially when I'm moving through different climates or my scalp and hair start to react. They keep everything balanced," she shares.
Her BAG is an extension of that mindset: carefully chosen staples that work overtime. “Everything in here earns its place,” she says. From the mascara that never flakes to the body cream that leaves skin dewy but never greasy, it’s an edit built on impact—low-maintenance, high-impact, and beautifully considered.
