THE LOCATION

The shoot took place at the home of legendary film producer Robert Evans. Located in Beverly Hills, the house was designed by architect John Elgin, creator of the Hollywood Regency look. The house and its surroundings have also served as backdrops for the works of many famous photographers (and friends of Mr. Evans) including Slim Aarons and Helmut Newton.

THE PHOTOGRAPHER: GUY AROCH

THE MAKEUP ARTIST: KATE LEE

Kate Lee began her love affair with Hollywood rather unpredictably in London while working with then rising talents like Kate Winslet, Emily Mortimer, and Rachel Weisz. Having become one of the most in-demand makeup artists, Kate now lives in Los Angeles and works regularly with some of our favorite Violets — Rooney Mara, Keira Knightley, Kate Bosworth and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. In addition, Kate often works on editorial with publications like Vogue, Purple, InStyle, Bazaar, Elle and Marie Claire as well as with photographers like Norman Jean Roy, Ellen Von Unwerth, James White, and Terry Richardson.

THE HAIRSTYLIST: ADIR ABERGEL

The life of celebrity hairstylist, Adir Abergel, reads like a Hollywood film. Once a member of the American Ballet Theatre in New York City, his tenure was cut short due to an injury. After relocating to Los Angeles, Adir, catapulted into the fashion and editorial world, landing work with top publications like Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, V and W magazine. A celebrity clientele soon followed, including some of our favorite Violets — such as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel.

THE NAIL ARTIST: STEPHANIE STONE

In this increasingly nail-crazy town, Stephanie Stone of Nailing Hollywood remains one of the trailblazing talents. Ombre, glitter, studs, crystals, razor-sharp rose thorns—you name it, she can turn it into a stunning work of fingertip art. From avant-garde photo shoots to red-carpet styles, Stephanie can go from graphic to classic without batting an eyelash. Her talents are called upon a growing list of leading ladies including Michelle Williams and Zoe Saldana.
