If you ask model and blogger behind 4th and Bleeker Alexandra Spencer and fashion designer Teale Talbot what makes the perfect piece of clothing, they’ll likely tell you it’s all about the woman wearing it. The Aussie co-founders of Réalisation Par (translation: made by, styled by) launched their line in 2015 and quickly gained a devoted celebrity following (think: Phoebe Tonkin, Kaia Gerber, and Bella Hadid, among others).

But Spencer and Talbot aren’t looking to overhaul your wardrobe. The duo hopes to inspire women to mix each Réalisation piece with their own unique personal style. The versatile clothing collection (wear it to a wedding, keep it casual at brunch, or dance the weekend away at a festival) fuses effortless French garb with understated elegance inspired by what they deem “dream girls”—otherwise known as their closest confidantes and iconic women that inspire them. “Teale and I saw a gap in the market and a better way of doing things,” says Spencer. “We grew up with the Internet, but we’re lucky enough to know what life was like without it. We wanted to take advantage of selling direct to consumer with the tools we already had in place—specialty prints and 100 percent silk pieces. Ultimately, Réalisation is a representation of our lifestyle, friendships, and creative careers.”

TEALE BY DAY

BEAUTY DU JOUR?
First I cleanse with Cosmedix Benefit Clean Gentle Cleanser. After I dry my face, I apply the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence and layer on the SkinMedica TNS Essential Serum. I finish with the SkinMedica Dermal Repair Cream and the Actinica Liposomal SPF 50 Sunscreen. In terms of makeup, I like to keep it simple, so I use the Tom Ford Traceless Foundation Stick, Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows, and the Chantecaille Longest Lash Mascara.

FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS?
When I first wake up I roll over in bed and check the time to see if I can squeeze in a little more sleep. I’m not much of a morning person. When I finally wake up I read my texts, open all the curtains in the house, and then take my dog, Rocket, outside. Afterward I take a bath, get dressed, and walk to get a coffee. Then my workday officially starts.

WHAT DO YOU THINK WHEN YOU FIRST LOOK IN THE MIRROR?
I decide if the lighting in my room is good or bad, and I check my eyebrows to see how they look.

BATH OR SHOWER?
Bath. I have this amazing glass shower room at home with a big bathtub that I love. I sometimes bathe three times a day or at really random times. I realize that is a little excessive, but even if I am in a rush I will always choose a bath over a shower.

AT FIRST SIGHT?
First I look at my phone. Our business is run from across the globe and in different time zones, so I am always waking up to a bunch of emails, WhatsApp, WeChat messages, and texts.

MORNING JAM?
The music I play is forever changing. At the moment I am staying at Alex’s house, so currently whatever she is playing, which is always loud and never the same.

COFFEE, TEA, OR JUICE?
Coffee. Strong. Black. No sugar.

LOOK OF THE DAY?
I usually pick out my outfit just before I go. It also depends on where I am in the world or where I am going. I like to be comfortable and look good, but with little fuss.

WHEN DO YOU GET YOUR BEST IDEAS?
In the middle of the night. I have a very busy mind. Now I write them all down in the hopes I can go back to sleep.

BEAUTY ICON?
Lauren Hutton because she’s been beautiful and confident for 73 years.

ALEXANDRA BY DAY

BEAUTY DU JOUR?
I just started seeing Dr. Lancer as my dermatologist. His team performs this microdermabrasion treatment that ends with dry ice on your face and makes you look like a newborn. I also started using some of his products, and they really work. I know this because I think my skin looks great and then I stop using them and it doesn’t look as good. I do believe that sunscreen is the best thing you can do after age 20. I leave mine by the front door and I put it on every time I walk out. I use Dr. Lancer’s Sheer Fluid Sun Shield SPF 30. If you rub it in your hands first you can put it under or over makeup. It’s perfect. As I’ve gotten older I have noticed that prepping my skin before putting on makeup is the most important part. I am addicted to masks. I use them almost every day. I love the Brightening Mineral Mask by Sodashi, and then I use the May Lindstrom Blue Cocoon balm. I like to leave it as long as I can before I put on my makeup so it all sinks in.

FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS?
Smiling!

WHAT DO YOU THINK WHEN YOU FIRST LOOK IN THE MIRROR?
Honestly, I think about how clean they are because my housekeeper Maria (an angel!) has come or that I need to call Maria to come to my house ASAP.

BATH OR SHOWER?
Shower.

AT FIRST SIGHT?
My morning routine when I’m at my house in LA is always the same. I wake up and check the time and before looking at my phone I put on music. Recently I started oil pulling (an ancient Ayurvedic dental technique that involves swishing a tablespoon of oil in your mouth on an empty stomach for around 20 minutes), which is the most amazing thing! It’s kind of time consuming so you have to keep busy so you can make it to 20 minutes. While doing that I’ll walk around the house opening all the windows and check my texts and emails. Then I take a chlorophyll tablet and drink coffee by the pool.

MORNING JAM?
Music is the first thing I turn on in the morning and usually the last thing I turn off at night.

COFFEE, TEA, OR JUICE?
Coffee.

LOOK OF THE DAY?
I’ve never been somebody to pick out an outfit ahead of time. For me, the less time I have to get dressed, the better my outfit is. My outfits are highly informed by whether I’ve unpacked my suitcase, what is at the dry cleaner, and what is on the floor.

WHEN DO YOU GET YOUR BEST IDEAS?
I have new ideas all the time. I tend to keep them in my head sometimes for years. Some of my best work has come from organizing the linen cupboard or watching Law and Order: SVU.

BEAUTY ICON?
My beauty icon is my mum and my best friend, Stevie Dance. They are both super informed when it comes to wellness and approach beauty through health.
