With Fabbrica Della Musa, fragrances are tied to a sense of place—portraits of far-flung locales that live as much in imagination as on the map. The Italian house is a new personal chapter for the master perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani, the nose behind a library of more than 150 notable fragrances. Created in collaboration with his wife, Barbara Adelmann, the line utilizes high-quality ingredients ranging from Indian oud and Taif rose to African ginger, Somalian incense, and Madagascan vanilla. The result is a body of work that’s uniquely transportive.
