Mishel Chernyavskiy, the spray tan artist responsible for the bronzed, glowing skin on display at the 2025 Victoria Secret Fashion Show—not to mention countless other celebrity clients like Jennifer Lawrence and Sabrina Carpenter—was booked to tan Carole Radziwill. A text arrived; could they have the appointment at Radziwill’s best friend (and founder of VIOLET GREY) Cassandra Grey’s house instead? After witnessing her tanning acumen firsthand, Grey became a regular client and one of the first to try Chernyavskiy’s not yet-launched products: two skin care-first tanning formulas for the face and body, respectively.
Both The Quickie and The Night Affair are chock-full of active ingredients like squalane, niacinamide, and lactic acid for a smoother, more even, natural-looking tan and bouncy, hydrated skin. The former builds color on the body based on how long you let it develop, and the latter is applied to the face as a sleeping mask. With her particular knack for spotting greatness, Grey requested that the products debut exclusively at VIOLET GREY—after passing The Violet Code, of course.
