WHY IT CAUGHT OUR EYE
Peek into any hairstylist’s kit from our artist community and you’ll likely find Leonor Greyl Huile Secret de Beauté Organic Oil. Case in point: The luxe mix of lemongrass, tiare, and yucca oils protects and restores, leaving silky, shiny hair and soft, supple skin. The quick-absorbing oil also includes UVA/UVB sun protection to help color last, limit the amount of sun damage to your hair, and combat oxidative stress following exposure to UV rays. “As far back as I can remember, when we went on holiday, my father, my mother, and I took along a very special oil that Dad produced just for us,” says Caroline Greyl, CEO of Leonor Greyl. “It was specially designed to protect the skin. It smelled so good and worked such wonders on my young skin that my tan lasted into autumn. Without a doubt, it was in order to rekindle these memories. So I asked my husband, Tom, to reformulate—under the watchful eye of my father—an oil that would make life easier for women on the go.”
THE ARTIST RESPONSE
“I love oils, period. Especially a dual-action one. This smells gorgeous and is incredibly moisturizing without feeling greasy. The oil adds a light, beautiful sheen to the hair and skin. I recommend spraying it on your body, rubbing it in, using the excess on your ends of your hair, then spritzing a bit more into midlengths and ends for more moisture and shine.”—Mara Roszak, hairstylist
For a reparative treatment, use on dry hair, leave on for 5 to 10 minutes, and shampoo out. When styling, apply to lengths and ends on dry or damp hair. For the body, massage into dry skin for immediate moisture and to enhance your tan.
