VILHELM

DO NOT DISTURB

A powdery floral fragrance that exudes Hollywood allure.

Written By JAYME CYK

THE STORY OF A SCENT

Despite the fact that he was not, in fact, alive in the 1950s,Vilhelm Parfumerie creator Jan Ahlgren has a vivid mental image of what Hollywood was like in its golden age. Picture this: The Rat Pack, Marilyn Monroe, and a slew of icons mingling at The Beverly Hills Hotel. It’s past midnight, and as the drinks flow so do the guests—into individual bungalows where affairs are bound to ensue. Behind one door, a hand slips out and places a sign reading “Do Not Disturb” on the handle.

This narrative was the inspiration behind Vilhelm Do Not Disturb, a tremendously sexy, warm, woody floral fragrance from Ahlgren’s niche perfumery. “The woman wearing this fragrance is definitely confident and intelligent,” he says. “She really appreciates good quality and dares to wear something that is incredibly intoxicating and sexy.”
