Not only is Sofie Pavitt’s Williamsburg facial studio a private hideaway and haven of skin transformation for her most exclusive clients, it is also where the aesthetician (with perhaps the most radiant, crystal-clear skin we’ve ever seen) tinkers with new formulas. On a recent visit, Sofie gave us a preview of what was soon to be our latest obsession. 

Her new Micellar Cleansing Pads combine the gentle, oil-removing, makeup-dissolving power of a classic micellar water with the ease of a biodegradable cleansing wipe. They soothe and hydrate; they make an absolutely perfect morning refresh (or first step in a double cleanse); they remove sunscreen and grime, and are our new go-to for instantly tweaking eye makeup misshaps and errant smudges. Given they are made by the “acne whisperer” herself, they are also a dream for sensitive and breakout-prone complexions. As soon as the travel-friendly green jars were ready, we sent them to the Committee of Industry Experts for testing.
