The clay mask, redefined. Sensitive, irritation-prone skin, this one’s for you.

DISCOVERED

This soothing, replenishing mask with shockingly effective redness-reducing powers was born straight out of Shani Darden’s Beverly Hills treatment room where, post exfoliation and extractions, the aesthetician-to-the-stars routinely hand-whips a moisturizing clay concoction to relieve and calm skin. If you’re lucky enough to have had the pleasure of one of Darden’s facials, you can understand why our editors were clamoring to get their hands on the at-home version of her star staple.

TESTED

Who’s ever heard of a hydrating, and dare we say pampering clay mask? Each person who tried the creamy, fluffy treatment reported smooth, cushiony, revitalized skin that also felt exceptionally clean and calm. The most transformative results, however, belonged to those with eczema and irritation (from retinol use or procedures like microneedling and chemical peels), who saw redness practically evaporate in only ten minutes.

“You can really see and feel the experience and expertise behind this product. I’ve never used a clay mask quite like this—the lightweight, whipped consistency feels luxe, yet it is easy to use and remove. Pores look instantly refined, skin is soothed, and the texture more even without feeling dry whatsoever. I especially love the use of colloidal oatmeal to balance out the kaolin clay. It is one of my favorite anti-inflammatories and fantastic for barrier repair, eczema, and irritation. Love, love, love!”
—MADALAINA CONTI, Aesthetician

“Double masking is the new double cleansing, and this nourishing clay mask is the perfect second step after an acidic treatment to instantly calm and reduce redness while leaving the skin replenished. Colloidal oatmeal de-stresses, white, green, and chamomile tea soothe, and squalane locks in moisture to bring back bright, radiant skin.”
—ELIZABETH GRACE HAND, Aesthetician

“I love a spa experience and this luxurious clay mask with the brush applicator delivers exactly that. Not only does it revive your skin, it also helps unclog pores without drying. It’s a great all-in-one mask that I love to use on clients before an event as it preps the skin perfectly for a beautiful makeup application.”
—CHRISTOPHER MILES, Makeup Artist
