When the Density Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner landed on VIOLET LAB Executive Director Sarah Brown’s doorstep, she was skeptical. For her, volumizing shampoos often succeeded in adding volume, but they also tended to result in dry, lackluster hair. She took the system for a spin anyway, and was astonished, let’s just say, to find that her fine hair genuinely looked and felt fuller, but was soft and silky, to boot.

Developed by the trichologists (specialists of the hair and scalp) at Philip Kingsley’s London clinic, this duo helps fine and thinning hair in the short- and long-term: Specialized polymers and hydrolyzed pea peptides immediately volumize hair without causing dryness. With ongoing use, strands are strengthened from deep within the cortex, and the scalp is gently exfoliated to reduce breakage and shedding, leading to fuller, healthier hair.
