Make Beauty Serum Balm

Carrie Barber, the Creative Director and Owner of MAKE Beauty, calls VIOLET GREY her “Alma Mater”. A beloved former VIOLET STAFFER (she was our Senior Art Director!), Barber has the highest of high standards when it comes to all things beauty. If she chooses to use a product on her flawless face (we can hear her debating the flawless claim in our heads), you know it’s a winner. So, when she told us she had created the perfect lip treatment/oil/serum/gloss/balm fusion, we perked right up.

VIOLET STAFFERS fell hard for the impossibly smooth and hydrating (and also, not sticky) formula that imparted a subtle wash of a color. Plus, the chunky applicator wand was just plain satisfying to use. Knowing we couldn’t keep this affordable product all to ourselves, we quickly sent it to our Committee of Industry Experts.
