In the world of beauty, there is nothing more satisfying than a product that looks good and does good. Add “smells good” to that list, and you’ve got a legitimate triple threat. With ears constantly to the ground in search of best-in-class formulas, VIOLET’s editors heard a rumor that Agent Nateur had achieved exactly that with their Body (Balm), that it provided truly unmatched, long-lasting hydration, firmed skin, and gave the body a supermodel-esque sheen. But, as always, we needed to see for ourselves. Our curators gave the brand a ring.

The refined, aesthetically pleasing bottles arrived and, almost immediately thereafter, a genuine fervor erupted at VIOLET HQ. All of us—every last one—could not stop raving about this actively firming, tightening, super hydrating formula with a genuinely exquisite texture (a balm/cream hybrid with the conditioning power of an oil and spreadability of a gel). A single application moisturized for days at a time and somehow never felt sticky, despite providing a light-catching glow so luminous it inspired the planning of pool parties. We rushed to send it for testing and—spoiler alert—the Committee of Industry Experts was just as excited as we were.
