Site Merchandiser

Job Summary

The Site Merchandiser is integral to our mission of delivering a best in class client experience on our site. This role is charged with maximizing sales by formulating and executing marketing and merchandising strategies that optimize product organization, placement, and presentation. You will balance analytics and logic with creativity and intuition, while working collaboratively across the E-commerce, Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative teams. You will have a track record of successfully improving conversion and increased revenue through creative and data-backed merchandising tactics and strategies.

What you’ll do:

  • Merchandise the site to deliver a compelling product experience and collection point of view, using simple, intuitive category navigation and clear, accurate product details.

  • Leverage web analytics to promote the discoverability and selection of products to ensure we satisfy customer needs and interests.

  • Ensure products are launched correctly, with appropriate attributes, scheduling, and categorization.

  • Align landing page content with marketing campaigns.

  • Leverage Spree / Netsuite tools to optimize product sortation and search results sortation.

  • Analyze and understand our clients’ behavior; building heat maps to identify usage of navigation and filter tools, and interaction with site content. Apply learnings to improve future site merchandising and marketing campaigns.

  • In partnership with Creative and Marketing teams, concept key product stories and ideas for the season, leading to inspirational site and email storytelling that enhances the brand.

  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the E-commerce team to understand weekly business results, develop seasonal strategies, and ensure financial targets are achieved.

  • Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative teams to ensure a compelling site and customer experience that supports overall business objectives and meets/exceeds customer expectations.

  • Assist Director of E-Commerce with digital marketing channels on an as-needed basis.


  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferrably with a multi-brand e-commerce retailer.

  • A comprehensive understand of e-commerce marketing (across channels and platforms).

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google products.

  • Knowledge and understanding of web analytics tools, specifically Google Analytics.

  • Experience with Spree and Netsuite highly desired. Basic knowledge of HTML preferred.

  • Skilled and comfortable working independently and as part of a team of dynamic, creative professionals.

  • Ability to give and receive feedback thoughtfully and constructively.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A sense of urgency, teamwork and problem solving skills, and desire to learn.
