Job Summary

The Merchandise Assistant works with our Merchandising Team to assist with all clerical tasks and data entry, including supporting all logistical tasks required to set up new inventory, accurately updating pricing, creating purchase orders, and much more. The position requires frequent communication with other members of the Company as well as great organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

What you’ll do

  • Input RTVs, purchase orders, and transfers.

  • Manage the setup of new SKUs and brand partners in all systems systems (NetSuite, Shopkeep, Spree, etc.)

  • Execute price increases for products across all platforms.

  • Efficiently create and generate selling reports by vendor on a monthly (and possibly weekly) basis.

  • Track the logistics of merchandise to ensure timely deliveries, troubleshooting all shipment issues.

  • Work with the Associate Merchant to keep samples organized for marketing meetings, photoshoots, and in-store testers.

  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure all product information is properly uploaded and monitored in Spree.

  • Consistently maintain and update all vendor contact information, creating an accurate compilation of all necessary vendor information.

  • Work effectively as a member of the cross functional team by communicating clearly and focusing on team objectives.

  • Provide general administrative support to the Merchandising Team as assigned.

  • Assist with and support any additional company-wide projects and/or initiatives as needed.

  • Qualifications:

  • College degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience

  • Highly detail oriented, with excellent organizational and clerical skills

  • Adapts easily to changes in workload and assignment

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong computer skills, especially in MS Word & Excel

  • Must be able to utilize and master internal software systems

  • Sense of urgency, flexibility, and ability to multi-task

  • Handles multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Maintains a proactive approach to responsibilities

  • Willingness to learn
