Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is an integral team member working across Marketing & PR functions. This role with assist with a breadth of marketing activities from visual merchandising and creating pitch documents to building emails and reporting. This role will intensely collaborate with cross-functional Marketing, Creative, Product, Editorial, Technology, Merchandising, Client Service, Retail and Operations teams by providing data and insights on a variety of key performance metrics. This team member will report directly to the Director of Acquisition and Brand Partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily and weekly reporting for e-commerce platform, including weekly channel reports for social media, content, email, promotions and advertising.
  • Build customer facing marketing emails. Coding experience is preferred but not required
  • Manage weekly onsite promotional updates on the homepage and top navigation
  • Provide detailed on-site reporting for VIOLET GREY commerce and content divisions by marketing channel
  • Visually merchandise category pages optimizing against conversion targets
  • Assist with product and onsite briefs based on product roadmap
  • Create presentations and pitch materials for brand, partner and sales opportunities
  • Conduct research for potential marketing analytics vendors, channels, and programs on an as-needed basis
  • Assist with in store events and client gifting, when required
  • Manage product press requests with PR agency
  • Work and assist department with any ad hoc tasks across acquisition, retention and product marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years of previous luxury, fashion or beauty marketing experience, preferably with an e-commerce or media organization
  • A passion for beauty
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Office. Experience in Excel is critical encompassing building reports with pivot tables and formulas
  • HTML experience is preferred, but not required
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, able to prioritize and manage completing tasks and show good problem-solving judgment
  • Very positive, enthusiastic and compassionate team player with strong work ethic and interest in growing with the company
  • Curious, with a love of learning and openness to training and developing new skills
  • Willingness to be hands-on and do all levels of work and ‘pitch-in’ as needed
  • Strong professional references and proven ability to work in a dynamic environment with many types of people a various levels and create value every day
